Call For Artists, 2nd annual Wonderland Exhibition.

 

This is a call out for professional artists who want to take part in an Art Exhibition in conjunction with a dance performance at Convocation Hall. 

 

Perpetual Motion Dance Studio presents a huge artistic production of Alice in Wonderland every spring at Convocation Hall, Mount Allison University, Sackville NB.  

 

There will be  an opening vernissage reception, on the Friday night (to be confirmed). The show will remain up for the weekend of the performances, at Convocation Hall.

 

The show features all ages and types of dance (ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, belly dancing, acro); it is professionally choreographed and promises to be magical.  Artworks that are dance or movement themed or Alice in Wonderland themed, will be considered.  Sorry no digital works. 

 

Artists will price their own work and will get 60% of any sales.

A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Dance Studio

 

Artwork Guidelines   

 

• Dance and/or Alice in Wonderland themed or movement based

• All mediums will be considered 

• Wall works must be ready to hang

• All sizes will be considered, but more portable sizes are preferred. 

• all works must be for sale

• if you were in last years show, the final works need to be differet works.

                                

 

If you would like to be considered for this curated show & sale, please send 6-12 jpegs of your current work  (doesn’t have to be final pieces) and a CV.  Deadline is Feb 15, 2018, for submissions.  

 

The artists selected will be notified by February 20, 2018.  Those selected, are required to send JPEGS of their work to be considered for the show, by May 1, 2018. The final artworks will be selected from the submitted pieces.

 

The show is scheduled for May 25-27 2018 (date to be confirmed)
